Yvonne started playing the piano at the age of three. After initially pursuing a career in architecture, she returned to music in 2015 and received her Masters of Music degree at Royal Holloway, University of London, in 2016. Since then, Yvonne has served as Music Administrator for several UK-based non-profit classical music organisations, including the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe and the European Piano Teachers Association.

In 2025, she embarked on a new professional path as a piano tuner and technician, completing her training at The Piano Technology School UK. Inspired by her first encounter of an early piano – playing Haydn piano trios with friends on an early 19th-century English fortepiano – she has also specialised in early-keyboards maintenance & tuning practices and is currently studying with Cesar Hernandez.
